IC welcomes new Malayan Insurance chief

MANILA, Philippines — Malayan Insurance’s new President and CEO, Jose Paolo Y. Abaya was formally introduced to the Insurance Commission (IC) during a courtesy visit at the Insurance Commission office along United Nations Avenue in Manila recently.

During the visit, Malayan’s new Vice Chairperson, Ms. Yvonne S. Yuchengco, accompanied Mr. Paolo Y. Abaya and other Malayan Insurance executives to meet Atty. Dennis B. Funa, Commissioner at the Insurance Commission and his management team.

The Insurance Commission is the Philippine government’s agency mandated to sustain and support the local insurance industry’s growth through progressive regulatory and supervisory policies at par with international standards.
